We took VMA voting to one of our followers’ favorite and most-engaged with platforms: Instagram Stories!
Fans voted for their favorite Song Of Summer in a bracket-style tournament consisting of three rounds on @MTV’s Instagram Stories.
In the first two rounds, nominees were paired in a series of head-to-head slides where fans chose their favorites via polling stickers.
The final round called for users to “swipe up” on their favorite nominee’s slide to vote.
Then, fans tuned in to the 2018 VMA pre-show to see their pick (Cardi B!) revealed on the red carpet.
