2012 MTV Video Music Awards: Timeline Tracker

For the first time, a Facebook Timeline Tracker was used for the VMAs. The tracker displayed the most popular and up-to-date VMA content, and kept tabs on the number of Likes, comments and shares was receiving on the MTV Facebook page. Content was organized into filters that included Beauty+Fashion, News, Performers, and All Topics. It lived in a Facebook tab and on the VMA site.
